MANHATTAN, NY — A lucky Lotto player is $3 million richer after purchasing a jackpot-winning ticket for the January 8 drawing, the New York Lottery announced Wednesday.

The winning ticket was sold at Players Café, located at 241 Bleecker Street in Manhattan. The ticket matched all six winning numbers drawn, securing the multi-million-dollar jackpot.

The Lotto game, which draws six winning numbers plus a bonus number from a field of one to 59, requires players to match the first six numbers to win the jackpot. The drawing is held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:15 p.m.

The New York Lottery urges the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and keep it in a secure location until claiming the prize.
