Man shot and killed in broad daylight on Greenmount Avenue in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD – A 33-year-old man was shot and killed late Saturday morning in East Baltimore after police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue.
Officers arrived at approximately 11:41 a.m. and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.
The area, located in Baltimore’s Eastern District, was cordoned off as homicide detectives took over the investigation. The victim’s name has not yet been released, and no arrests have been made.
