50-Year-Old Man Killed in Bronx Dispute

BRONX, NY – Mario Fernandez, a 50-year-old resident of the Bronx, was killed during a dispute on Friday.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:32 a.m. at 2631 Marion Avenue. Fernandez was struck on the head with a glass bottle, causing a laceration to the neck.

Emergency Medical Services transported Fernandez to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The assailant remains unidentified and at large.

The New York City Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
