Cash 5 ticket sold in Allegheny County wins $870K jackpot
MOON TOWNSHIP, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth $870,000 after matching all five numbers in the Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing held Sunday night.
The winning ticket, which matched the numbers 1-20-25-38-40, was sold at Uni-Mart, located at 101 Fern Hollow Road in Moon Township, Allegheny County. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The prize amount is subject to applicable withholding. The identity of the winner will not be released until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated by lottery officials.
In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 13,300 other tickets won prizes in the November 9 drawing. Players are reminded to check every ticket, every time, as lower-tier prizes can be claimed at any Pennsylvania Lottery retailer.
Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes for the main Cash 5 game. Any Quick Cash prizes must also be claimed within one year of the purchase date.
Anyone in possession of the jackpot-winning ticket is advised to contact the nearest Pennsylvania Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for claim instructions.
