TOMS RIVER, NJ—In a heartwarming display of intergenerational unity, students from Toms River High School North recently visited the Toms River Senior Center to celebrate Older Americans Month. The visit allowed students and seniors to engage in meaningful dialogue, embodying this year’s theme, “Powered by Connection.”

The interaction provided both groups an opportunity to exchange stories and experiences, fostering mutual respect and community spirit. The seniors shared their life experiences and knowledge, while the students contributed fresh perspectives and energy. The event culminated in the creation of lasting bonds between the generations.

The highlights and outcomes of the visit will be featured at the Toms River Health Fair Expo, scheduled for May 31. The community is encouraged to attend and experience firsthand the strong connections forged during this event.
