Desk Fan Used as Weapon in Wilkes-Barre Domestic Disturbance

Wilkes-Barre, PA – Authorities responded to a domestic disturbance incident on Thursday at the Mayflower Crossing Apartment Complex. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the victim of a verbal altercation with Siadelis GUZMAN, during which GUZMAN allegedly used a desk fan to assault the victim. GUZMAN, a resident of Wilkes-Barre, PA, faced charges of Simple Assault and Harassment following the events.

The victim, a 33-year-old Caucasian male also from Wilkes-Barre, detailed the altercation upon police inquiry. The incident took place at 11:34 am, resulting in GUZMAN’s arrest on the charges brought against her for the assault and harassment.

Officers took action swiftly after receiving the report of the altercation. GUZMAN was charged accordingly and brought into custody for further legal proceedings.
