- Incident #1 (52 Precinct): On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at around 12:15 PM, a 32-year-old woman was robbed of her cellphone by a moped rider in front of 2860 Decatur Avenue. The suspect fled on the moped.
- Incident #2 (43 Precinct): On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at approximately 8:55 AM, a 38-year-old woman was approached and nearly robbed of her cellphone at the intersection of Watson Avenue and Beach Avenue. The suspect attempted the theft and then escaped northbound on Beach Avenue.
- Incident #3 (52 Precinct): On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at about 12:15 PM, a 22-year-old woman was walking near Perry Avenue and East Bedford Park Boulevard when her cellphone was snatched by an individual on a moped who then headed southbound on Marion Avenue.
- Incident #4 (52 Precinct): On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at approximately 9:58 AM, a 41-year-old woman had her cellphone forcibly taken by a moped rider near Grand Concourse and East 199 Street. The assailant fled toward East 198 Street.
In all cases, the victims were unharmed, but their cellphones were taken.
