Andrew Mitchell Pleads Guilty to Major Trafficking in “Operation Final Blow” Case

Goshen, NY – Andrew Mitchell, also known as “Loc,” has pled guilty in Orange County Court to Operating as a Major Trafficker. The announcement was made by Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler on Friday. Mitchell, 49, from Chester, was apprehended following a four-month investigation aimed at disrupting major narcotics operations in Port Jervis and surrounding areas, including Pike County, Pennsylvania.

The investigation, named “Operation Final Blow,” was initiated by various law enforcement agencies, including the City of Port Jervis Police Department and the Orange County Drug Task Force. They were supported by the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, Pike County Criminal Investigations Division, and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. Federal entities like Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI’s Safe Streets Taskforce, and the United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force also played pivotal roles.

During the operation, authorities executed 17 search warrants, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of drugs such as cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy pills, and oxycodone pills. Seven illegal
