Teenager found shot, dead in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — An 18-year-old male was fatally shot early Sunday morning at the intersection of East Tremont Avenue and Park Avenue, police said.

Officers from the 48th Precinct responded to a 911 call at approximately 1:25 a.m. and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical services transported him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification, and no arrests have been made, police said.

Authorities said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
