BALTIMORE, Md. — Four suspects, including three juveniles, were arrested Sunday evening after they bailed from a stolen Hyundai and fled into an occupied home in Baltimore’s Central District, prompting a swift police response assisted by an aviation unit.

License plate alert leads to pursuit
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on April 6, Central District Detectives received a License Plate Reader (LPR) hit on the stolen vehicle. Officers requested aerial support from Foxtrot, the department’s aviation unit, which located the Hyundai at a dead end on Hoffman Street.
As officers moved in, the suspects fled on foot from the car. They entered an occupied residence nearby but were quickly apprehended.
Charges include burglary and drug offenses
The arrested individuals include a 19-year-old woman, two 17-year-old males, and a 14-year-old girl. All were charged with auto theft. The 14-year-old and one of the 17-year-olds were also charged with burglary tied to a separate incident. The 19-year-old faces an additional charge related to a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) violation.
The juveniles were transported to Juvenile Bookings, while the adult was taken to Central Booking for processing.
