WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Wall Township Police recorded a series of arrests between May 12 and May 18, with charges ranging from driving while intoxicated to obstruction and warrant apprehensions across Monmouth County.
On Monday, Patrolman Jared Conte arrested Mark Ignatowicz, 63, of Wall, for driving while intoxicated following an accident on State Highway 35. Ignatowicz was processed and released under the provisions of John’s Law, which mandates temporary vehicle impoundment and a safe release process for intoxicated drivers.
A day later, Patrolman Clint Forgach arrested Ivan Garcia, 26, of Belmar, on a Wall Township traffic warrant during a motor vehicle stop on the same highway. Garcia was processed and then taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Thursday saw Patrolman Thomas Gavaghan arrest Isaiah Crudup, 32, of Neptune, on a Neptune City traffic warrant after a traffic stop on State Highway 18. Crudup was processed and later turned over to Neptune City Police.
On Friday, Steven Hilton, 40, and Christopher Hilton were arrested by Patrolman John Kelly on Tiltons Corner Road. Steven Hilton was wanted on a warrant from Brick Township, and both men were charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. They were processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
That same day, Patrolman Forgach arrested George Mazzacco, 32, of Maine, for obstruction during a traffic stop on State Highway 35. Mazzacco was released on a summons.
Multiple DWI cases processed under John’s Law
Also on Friday, Patrolman Jared Conte arrested Rosie Lopez, 32, of Neptune, for driving while intoxicated during a stop on State Highway 35. Lopez was processed and released according to John’s Law.
On Saturday, Patrolman Collin McCarthy arrested Tymir Owens, 32, of Neptune, at a Chase Bank on State Highway 35, on a criminal warrant out of Seaside Heights. Owens was released after posting bail.
Later that day, Patrolman Alfredo Flores arrested Matthew Lloyd, 29, of Neptune, at the Bradley Beach Police Department on a Wall Township theft warrant. Lloyd was taken to Monmouth County Correctional Institution after processing.
On Sunday, May 18, Patrolman Forgach arrested Albert Maresca, 37, of Middletown, for driving while intoxicated following an accident on State Highway 34. Maresca was processed and released under John’s Law.
In a separate incident, Patrolman Jason Paulus arrested Morgan Iglay, 23, of Manasquan, for shoplifting at ShopRite on State Highway 34. Iglay was released on a summons.
Patrolman Conte also arrested Zachary Dean, 21, of Howell, for DWI during a stop on Interstate 195. Dean was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
