Subway creeper sought after lewd act on train in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY — A 27-year-old woman was the victim of a lewd act aboard a southbound “2” train Thursday afternoon at the Clark Street subway station, according to police.

The incident occurred around 12:06 p.m., when an unidentified individual approached the woman while the train was stopped at the Brooklyn Heights station and performed a lewd act before fleeing on foot to an unknown location, the NYPD said.

No injuries were reported, and the victim did not require medical attention.

Police have not released a description of the suspect and no arrests have been made as of Friday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and working to identify the individual involved. No further details about the act or the suspect’s actions were immediately disclosed.
