TOWSON, MD — Authorities are searching for 44-year-old Lauren Desalvo, who was reported missing after she was last seen in the Towson area.
Desalvo, who is described as 5-foot-5 and approximately 145 pounds, was reportedly wearing black scrubs with pink lining on the shirt at the time of her disappearance. Police say she may be operating a black Jeep Compass with Maryland license plate CIB0938.
The Baltimore County Police Department is leading the investigation, working alongside Baltimore City law enforcement due to the possibility that Desalvo may be within city limits.
Authorities have not released any details regarding the circumstances of her disappearance or whether foul play is suspected. Desalvo was last seen earlier this week, according to officials.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Desalvo or her vehicle to contact 911 or the Baltimore County Police at 410-887-2361.
Ongoing investigation across Baltimore region
As the search continues, law enforcement has expanded the investigation to cover both Towson and Baltimore City, focusing on traffic cameras and local surveillance footage in hopes of locating Desalvo’s vehicle.
