by Breaking Local News Report

FORT MONMOUTH, N.J. — Perkins American Food Co. is launching into its new fiscal year with major expansion plans in New Jersey, announcing that all 46 available franchise units for its new café concept, Perkins Griddle & Go, have been sold across four counties.

The new fast-casual model will open its first New Jersey location by October at the Netflix Studios campus in Fort Monmouth, which developers have dubbed “The Hollywood of the East.” The site will also serve as the flagship location for the Griddle & Go brand.

Perkins signed multi-unit franchise deals in Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties, fully selling out available territories in each market. New Jersey is currently the top growth state for the concept.
