GetGo ticket in Richland Township hits $100K in Powerball boom
RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, PA – A Powerball ticket sold at a local convenience store in Allegheny County has landed a six-figure prize in one of the most anticipated lottery drawings in U.S. history.
The ticket, worth $100,000, was purchased at GetGo, located at 4099 Grandview Drive in Richland Township. It matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in the September 6 drawing — and was doubled from $50,000 to $100,000 with the $1 Power Play option. The multiplier drawn was 2X.
The winning numbers were 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, with the red Powerball number 17.
The GetGo store earns a $500 bonus for selling the ticket, which remains unclaimed. The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds winners they have one year to claim their prize and should sign the ticket immediately to secure it.
The drawing was part of a historic jackpot run that ended Saturday night with winning tickets in Missouri and Texas splitting $1.787 billion, the second-largest prize in Powerball history.
