Pennsylvania Lottery player wins $515K on Fast Play ticket sold in Ashland

Middletown, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery player has scored a life-changing prize after purchasing a progressive top prize-winning Fast Play ticket worth $515,706 at a tobacco shop in Schuylkill County.

The winning ticket for the Money Power Progressive game was sold on Monday, September 15, at Smokin’ Joe’s Tobacco Shop, located at 706 Centre Street in Ashland Borough. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Money Power Progressive is a $20 Fast Play game with a rolling top prize that starts at $350,000 and increases with every ticket sold until it is won. Unlike traditional draw games, Fast Play tickets print instantly from a Lottery terminal or self-service kiosk and do not require scratching or waiting for a drawing.

Players are urged to sign the back of their ticket immediately and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 if they believe they’ve won. Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of purchase, and all prizes over $5,000 are subject to standard withholding.

The identity of the winner will not be released until the ticket is validated and the prize is officially claimed.
