New York, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with two incidents of forcible touching that occurred within Manhattan subway stations on the same afternoon.
The first incident took place on Wednesday, September 3, at approximately 3:10 p.m., when a 27-year-old woman was leaving the 66 Street–Lincoln Center station. Police said an unknown man approached her and used his finger to perform a lewd act over her clothing before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported.
About 40 minutes later, a second attack occurred in Midtown. A 20-year-old woman was exiting the 34 Street–Pennsylvania Avenue station around 3:50 p.m. when the same man allegedly carried out the same act and fled on foot. No injuries were reported in that incident.
