BRONX, NY – Police are searching for a group of seven individuals accused of attacking and robbing a man Monday evening in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

The assault happened around 7:45 p.m. on September 29 in front of 1564 Taylor Avenue.

According to police, the 27-year-old victim was approached from behind by the group and repeatedly punched and kicked.

During the attack, the suspects stole the victim’s cellphone and wallet before fleeing southbound on Taylor Avenue.

Victim hospitalized in stable condition

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was listed in stable condition. Detectives from the 43rd Precinct are investigating the coordinated assault and robbery.

Police release descriptions of suspects

The NYPD provided descriptions of five of the seven wanted individuals:
• A male with a light complexion, slim build, and long hair, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
• A male with a medium complexion, slim build, and braided hair, last seen wearing a black jacket.
• A male with a medium complexion, slim build, and long hair, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
• A male with a medium complexion, slim build, and dark hair, last seen wearing a white tank top.
• A male with a medium complexion, heavy build, and dark hair, last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Investigation continues
