Man sought after woman groped at Jay Street–Borough Hall subway station

BROOKLYN, NY – A man is being sought by police after allegedly groping a woman inside a downtown Brooklyn subway station during the Monday evening rush.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. when a 27-year-old woman tried to pass through the turnstile at the Jay Street–Borough Hall “A” train station.

Police said an unidentified man followed her through the turnstile, pressed his body against her, and grabbed her buttocks over her clothing before fleeing on a southbound “A” train.

Victim uninjured in subway assault
