Gold minivan driver sought in Newark package theft caught on camera

Newark, NJ – A package was taken from the front of a Littleton Avenue home early Wednesday morning, and police are asking for help identifying the suspect captured on surveillance video leaving the scene in a gold Toyota minivan.

The theft occurred February 11 at approximately 7:45 a.m. in the 100 block of Littleton Avenue, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Authorities said the suspect removed the package from the front of the residence before getting into a gold Toyota minivan and driving away. Additional details about the contents or value of the package were not released.
