Man robbed at gunpoint while taking out cash for funeral fund at ATM

COLUMBUS, OH – On September 17, 2021 at 7:30am, the 66-year-old victim was standing at an ATM in the 3400 block of S. High St. to withdraw cash.

He was approached by a white male who uttered something and pulled a gun on the victim.The victim grabbed the gun and a brief struggle ensued. The victim was able to get the gun from the suspect.

The only reason the victim stopped at the ATM was to get cash to donate to a funeral fund at work.
