Suspect gets 50 years in prison for attempted murder, robbery conviction

EGG HARBOR CITY, NJ – An Egg Harbor City man has been sentenced for Attempted Murder and first degree Robbery, in connection to multiple incidents that took place in Atlantic City in 2019, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced.

Robert Harrell, 34, was sentenced on Friday Oct. 30, 2021, to 30 years in state prison for Attempted Murder and he must serve 85% of the sentence. Harrell was also sentenced to a consecutive 20-year sentence for the first degree Robbery charge and he must serve 85% of that sentence.
