39-year-old shot, dead in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – On November 26, 2021, at 12:31 pm, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 700 block of Reinhard Ave. on a report of a shooting.

On arrival, officers found 39-year-old Christopher Miller suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 1:15 pm.

Miller was in a parked vehicle in the 700 block of Reinhard Ave. when he became involved in a confrontation with another male. During the altercation, the male produced a handgun and shot Miller before fleeing the scene. It is unknown what prompted the altercation.
