NEW YORK, NY – A New York City police officer on patrol along the subway station platform at Bay Ridge’s 95th Street station jumped onto the tracks to rescue a woman who had fallen during a medical episode. The entire event was captured on his partner’s body camera.

This event occurred before the city announced two-officer patrols in the subway stations would cease. The rescue happened on Monday. The woman suffered minor head injuries and is recovering at NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition.
