Fugitive Gunman Who Shot Three, Killed One in Pittsburgh Arrested

PITTSBURGH, PA – Police in Pittsburgh have announced the arrest of a man who killed one and injured three in an August 7th shooting.

According to the Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, US Marshal’s Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force and Pittsburgh Police Narcotics detectives have arrested Andrew Johnson in connection with an August 7th, 2022 shooting incident that killed one man and injured three others.

Johnson, 25, of Coraopolis, was taken into custody in Westview, PA on an arrest warrant for the shooting that occurred in the 1700 block of Brighton Place.

He is being charged with Criminal Homicide, three counts of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy, and Persons Not to Possess a Firearm.
