ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Atlantic City Police Department has arrested in the stabbing murder of a 47-year-old Egg Harbor Township man found inside a hotel room at the ocean Casino Resort last week.
According to police, Friday, September 23rd, at around 1:30 p.m. Police officers arrived at the ocean casino resort to find the man unresponsive in his hotel room. Upon further investigation, police determined Brian Wilkinson was stabbed multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An Atlantic County Major Crimes Unit investigation led detectives to Andrew James Osborne, 34, of Philadelphia. Osborne was arrested and charged with murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.
He was arrested and taken into custody in Philadelphia and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
At this time Atlantic City police department has not announced any motive or what events transpired before the murder of Wilkinson.
