Resident honored at Gloucester Township annual citizens appreciation ceremony

GLOUCESTER TWP, NJ – Gloucester Township Police Department volunteer Michelle back was honored at the annual citizen’s appreciation park ceremony this weekend.

The annual event recognizes citizens for their community service to the Township of Gloucester.

“Michelle graduated from the GTPD Citizen’s Police Academy in May 2018, became a GTPD Volunteer In Police Service member shortly after, and has enjoyed many events with her fellow volunteers,” the Gloucester Township Police Department said. “She is currently employed by Gloucester Township Schools, and is a life long Gloucester Township resident. Michelle says one of her biggest accomplishments is being a mom to her two children, who bring her much love and joy.”

Also recognized was retired Gloucester Township Police Department Captain Ray Evans, who was honored for his volunteer service at the Chews Landing Fire Department.
