Suspect Wanted in Sexual Assault Incident on Chestnut Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department Special Victims Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect involved in a sexual assault that occurred on the 3800 block of Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, PA. The incident took place around 1:50 am on Tuesday.

The suspect, described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, was armed with a knife, which was recovered at the scene. He was wearing a dark hooded Polo zip-up jacket, blue denim jeans with white stitching on the inseam, and peach-colored sneakers.
