LANGLEY PARK, MD – The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday. Sixteen-year-old Kevin Ruiz Campos of Silver Spring was found dead with gunshot wounds in a parking lot on the 7900 block of Riggs Road around 5:30 p.m.
A second victim, an unidentified adult male, was also found shot and is currently hospitalized.
The detectives are working to identify any potential suspects and determine the motive behind the incident. A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for any information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
