Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Drug Arrest in Holdmel

by Charlie Dwyer

HOLMDEL – A routine check on a disabled vehicle by an officer led to the arrest of 42-year-old Jesse Campbell on multiple drug-related charges.

On Saturday, an officer noticed a vehicle parked at the side of the road and appeared to be disabled. Upon investigation, the vehicle was found to be occupied by Campbell, who was seated in an unusual position in the rear seat.

Campbell could not provide a coherent explanation for his situation, and signs of recent drug use were evident. Subsequent investigation resulted in Campbell being arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substances.

Campbell was charged with multiple drug offenses and has since been released from police custody.
