by Charlie Dwyer

WILLINGBORO, NJ – Willingboro Township Police Department is distributing free steering wheel locks to Hyundai and Kia owners to deter theft amid a social media challenge undermining vehicle security.

Owners of Hyundai and Kia vehicles living or working in Willingboro Township can pick up the steering wheel locks at the police department. Proper identification and vehicle registration are required for collection.

The locks will be available as long as supplies last. To gather more information, interested individuals are directed to a flyer released by the department.

Citizens are also encouraged to report any suspicious or criminal activity to the police via 9-1-1 or at 609-877-3001 for non-emergencies.
