13-Year-Old Boy Stabbed to Death on Hylan Boulevard

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Authorities are investigating a stabbing incident that led to the tragic death of a 13-year-old boy near Hylan Boulevard and Littlefield Avenue within the 122 Precinct.

On Friday, October 6, at around 1423 hours, a 911 call reported a stabbing incident. Responding officers found a young male, identified as Syles Ular of 185 Park Hill Avenue, Staten Island, with several stab wounds.

Officers immediately took him to Staten Island University South Campus, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

Police have since taken a person of interest into custody. The investigation continues as officials seek more information about the incident.
