Cumberland Man Charged with Assault at Paca Street Home

CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons to 20-year-old Nicholi Alexander Sneden on Monday.

The summons is linked to an assault investigation originating from an incident reported on August 12.

The alleged assault took place in late July at a residence on Paca Street. After the victim came forward and reported the assault by Sneden, the Cumberland Police Department conducted a thorough investigation.

Subsequent to the investigation, charges were filed against Sneden at the District Court of Allegany County.

Sneden, who has been charged with second-degree assault, signed for his copy of the summons and was released pending trial. The Police Department encourages any individuals with further information to come forward.
