HERNANDO COUNTY, FL – On Monday, Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies, alongside Hernando County Fire Rescue, were dispatched to a stabbing incident on Sturbridge Court in Weeki Wachee’s Heather subdivision at approximately 5:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a male juvenile victim with multiple stab wounds, who was immediately transported to a local trauma center in critical condition.
Witnesses reported that two male juveniles, who had been fighting with and subsequently stabbed the victim, fled into a wooded area. A perimeter was established, and with the aid of K-9 teams and drones, both suspects were apprehended before 6 p.m.
Major Case detectives took over the investigation, revealing that the parties involved were acquainted, with deteriorated friendships leading to ongoing issues.
The incident escalated from a pre-arranged fight between the victim and one suspect, later identified as Adam Biley, who is facing felony charges. The fight quickly turned violent when Biley stabbed the victim from behind and threatened another individual at the scene. Despite initial claims of self-defense, video evidence and witness statements contradicted these assertions.
Both juveniles were arrested, with Biley charged with Aggravated Battery/Cause Harm or Disability and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The second suspect faces two counts of Misdemeanor Battery. A search warrant executed at Biley’s residence yielded a cell phone and a knife, which were submitted as evidence.
