New York, NY – The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for help in identifying suspects linked to a spate of robberies across Queens, specifically within the 110 and 115 Precincts. These incidents, all occurring between December 24, and January 15, involved various aggressive tactics, including physical assault and the use of weapons.
The first reported incident occurred on December 24, around 10:45 PM, near 40-27 97 Street. A 46-year-old man was pushed to the ground by an assailant who then took his wallet and cellphone before fleeing. The victim received minor injuries.
At approximately 11:20 PM that same evening, another robbery occurred close to 41-04 Forley Street. Two men, one brandishing a firearm, robbed a 58-year-old man of his wallet. The victim was also treated for minor injuries on the scene.
In the early hours of the same day, at 4:00 AM, a 43-year-old man was assaulted by four individuals near 37-76 Junction Boulevard. They punched him and stole his belongings without causing physical harm.
On Christmas Day, shortly after midnight, two assailants cut a 42-year-old man’s jacket pocket with a knife and stole his wallet and cellphone near 102-14 Roosevelt Avenue. The victim was unharmed.
Another incident in the 115 Precinct occurred at 3:20 AM, where a 42-year-old man was attacked by three individuals who stole his wallet on 37-41 81 Street, leaving him uninjured.
On December 26, around 5:30 AM, a 29-year-old faced two attackers; one punched him and the other, wielding a knife, robbed him near Junction Boulevard and 37 Avenue. Minor injuries were treated on the scene.
A 55-year-old man was put in a chokehold and robbed by two individuals on December 27, at midnight, at the intersection of 35 Avenue and 90 Street. They fled on a moped, and the victim was unharmed.
The most recent incident reported occurred on January 15, at about 9:30 PM, near 95-15 41 Avenue. Two suspects assaulted a 36-year-old man and stole his belongings before escaping on foot. The victim was not injured.
The suspects are described as males with slim builds, one with a light complexion wearing a black jacket and blue backpack, and the other with long hair dressed in dark-colored clothing.
