CLAYMONT, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested Ronnie Annane, a 54-year-old man from New Castle, Delaware, for aggravated menacing. This arrest followed a road rage incident in Claymont yesterday morning.

The incident occurred on February 28, at around 10:51 a.m., when a trooper was dispatched to the Wawa at 601 Naamans Road in Claymont.

The call was regarding a road rage incident involving Annane and the victim on I-95, which escalated after both parties exited the highway. According to the victim, Annane, driving a black SUV, followed him to the Wawa, confronted him about a traffic altercation, and then retrieved a black knife from his vehicle, threatening the victim while holding the knife behind his back. Witnesses intervened, preventing any physical harm before troopers arrived on the scene.

Upon arresting Annane, a search of his SUV, he confirmed the presence of a black pocketknife, as described by the victim and witnesses. Annane was subsequently transported to Troop 1, where he was formally charged with aggravated menacing related to the road rage incident.
