Increased Security at Maryland High School Following Unfounded Threat

LUSBY, MD – The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office investigated a potential threat to Patuxent High School on Friday. An anonymous social media post suggesting a threat led to immediate law enforcement action.

Upon investigation, authorities found the threat to be non-credible and unfounded. Nevertheless, extra deputies were stationed at the school today as a precautionary measure.
