Massive Hydraulic Salvage Grab Arrives for FSK Bridge Collapse Recovery Effort

BALTIMORE, MD – A 200-ton hydraulic salvage grab, freshly transported from Galveston, TX to Sparrows Point this weekend, has now been positioned to assist in the recovery of some of the 50,000 tons of debris at the FSKBridge collapse site.

The massive equipment, boasting a 1,000 metric-ton capacity, represents a significant step forward in the ongoing salvage operations.

The presence of this machinery is expected to advance efforts in the wreckage recovery process. The undertaking is managed by the Baltimore District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, at the collapse site. The conveyance of the equipment was completed over a week-long barge journey. An image of the arrival was made public on social media.
