WASHINGTON, DC-Congresswoman Alexandria “Sandy” Ocasio-Cortez this week made a bold prediction that the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, adding that this is “Like our World War II” for the millennials and gen-Z.
“We’re like…the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change,” AOC said. “Like, this is our World War II.”
Cortez said there’s already a body count in the millennial’s WWII. 3,000 Americans died last year in the global climate change war, she said.
She has been the front line operator in the war, in the trenches with her phone and Twitter account.
“I wish I didn’t have to, you know, doing every post,” she said. “I just feel like people aren’t, uh, being held accountable.”
Until people are being held accountable, Cortez said she’s going to continue to slay bodies and “Let ’em have it”, one tweet at a time.
