AMBER Alert Issued for Three Abducted Siblings in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — The Virginia Beach Police Department has activated an AMBER Alert for three siblings believed to be abducted by 36-year-old Dana Demetrius Plummer. The children, identified as Zayir Plummer, 5; Zayin Plummer, 7; and Za’riyah Plummer, 16 months, are considered to be in extreme danger.

The suspected abductor, Dana Plummer, is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9″ tall, weighing 170 lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair. He may be traveling in a black 2024 Honda Passport SUV with temporary Virginia tags numbered 37555OR.

Details on the children:

  • Zayir Plummer: Approximately 4 feet tall, weighs 100 lbs, last seen wearing gray pants and a black jacket.
  • Zayin Plummer: Also about 4 feet tall, weighs 100 lbs, last seen wearing rust-colored pants and a light blue shirt.
  • Za’riyah Plummer: Around 24 inches long, weighs 40 lbs, last seen wearing pink tights and a dress featuring characters from “Trolls”.

The siblings were last observed at Jay Are Court in Virginia Beach. Currently, there is no specified direction of travel known for the suspect.
