Armed Robbers Pull Gun, Knife in D.C Mugging Caught on Camera

WASHINGTON, DC — The Metropolitan Police Department has issued a call for assistance in the hunt for suspects involved in an armed robbery in the Southeast quadrant of the city. The incident, which took place last Tuesday around 7:38 p.m. on the 3200 block of 4th Street SE, involved two assailants — one wielding a knife and the other a handgun.

The suspects confronted the victim and, under threats of violence, successfully coerced them into surrendering their property. Nearby surveillance cameras captured the robbery.

Detectives urge anyone with information to avoid direct engagement with the suspects and instead contact the police department at (202) 727-9099. Tips can also be sent anonymously to the Metro Police TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
