Queens, NY – Four unidentified suspects made off with a luxury Rolls-Royce and nearly half a million dollars’ worth of property during an armed robbery in Long Island City early Friday morning.
Police said the incident occurred around 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of 31st Street and 35th Avenue, where the group, driving a gray Dodge Durango SUV, confronted a 34-year-old man.


Three suspects exited the vehicle while the fourth stayed behind the wheel. One displayed a firearm and threatened the victim before the group forcibly took his possessions.

Suspects flee with luxury car and valuables
According to police, the robbers stole the victim’s watch, cellphones, a registered firearm, and car key before fleeing. Two of the suspects drove away in the Dodge Durango, while the other two fled in the victim’s 2024 Rolls-Royce, which carried a Florida license plate reading #16FCWR. Both vehicles were last seen heading east on 35th Avenue.
Authorities estimated the combined value of the stolen property at approximately $491,000. Despite the confrontation, the victim was not physically injured.
Stolen car later spotted in Brooklyn
A short time after the robbery, police sources said two individuals were observed entering the stolen Rolls-Royce within the confines of the 71st Precinct, which covers parts of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from both boroughs as part of the ongoing investigation.
