PHILADELPHIA, PA – A pair of victims were held at gunpoint during a violent robbery Saturday evening that ended with the thieves fleeing in a stolen vehicle.
The incident happened around 7:00 p.m. as the two victims were walking to their car near Cherry Street.
Three armed men approached, demanded their belongings, and assaulted one of the victims before taking a Rolex watch and a handgun.

Victims confronted by trio of armed suspects
Police said the suspects pulled handguns and ordered the victims to hand over their possessions. In the struggle, one of the robbers struck an adult male victim in the head with a firearm. Despite the blow, the victim declined medical attention at the scene.
Detectives search for suspects and stolen car
The group escaped westbound on Cherry Street in a stolen Honda Accord before police arrived. Detectives from the Central Detective Division are reviewing surveillance footage and seeking witnesses who may have seen the suspects or the vehicle prior to the robbery.
Authorities have not released descriptions of the offenders. The investigation remains ongoing.
