Armed Robbery at Baychester Avenue Business

NEW YORK, NY – A commercial establishment on 500 Baychester Avenue was the scene of an armed robbery early Tuesday, July 16, 2024. The incident occurred around 1:30 AM within the confines of the 45 Precinct.

Two unidentified males entered the business, one brandishing a firearm. They demanded money from a 27-year-old male employee working at the register. The assailants successfully took $1,500 and fled the scene in a gray sedan. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the robbery.

Descriptions of the suspects have been provided by authorities: one male was last seen wearing all black clothing, a blue medical mask, and white gloves. The other male was dressed in all gray clothing, with a white medical mask and black gloves. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals to aid in their capture and prevent further incidents.
