LINTHICUM, MD – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Sunday night at the Springhill Suites hotel in Linthicum, where a woman told officers she was held at gunpoint by someone she knew.
Officers from the Northern District responded around 11:45 p.m. on Nov. 30 to the hotel in the 800 block of Elkridge Landing Road after receiving reports of a robbery involving a firearm.
According to investigators, the female victim said an acquaintance entered her hotel room, aimed a handgun at her, and demanded money before fleeing in a vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Detectives identify suspect, charges pending
Anne Arundel County Police said investigators quickly identified a suspect through evidence and witness statements. Authorities did not release the suspect’s name but confirmed that charges are forthcoming as the case continues.
