Armed Robbery at Severns 7 Eleven Suspect Apprehended

SEVERN, MD – Officers were alerted to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on 500 Donaldson Avenue in Severn in the early hours of Friday, around 12:05 a.m.

A male suspect had entered the establishment, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk.

The perpetrator then went behind the counter, seized the cash drawer, and fled on foot.

Shortly after, officers located and arrested the suspect, identified as Jeffrey Alvin Rodgers, a 35-year-old from Severn, Maryland.

Further investigation led to the discovery of a black replica BB gun, believed to have been used in the robbery, and the stolen money was recovered from the 500 block of Donaldson Avenue.
