Arrest Made After Intentional Car Hit During Hotel Altercation

Prince William County, Virginia – On Sunday in in Prince William County, a 53-year-old man was taken into police custody for allegedly using his vehicle to harm another individual during a dispute at a local hotel, according to law enforcement authorities.

The suspect, Michael Lee Beach, engaged in a physical altercation with a 51-year-old man identified as an acquaintance at the Red Roof Inn on Automotive Drive in Manassas at approximately 10:10 p.m. The encounter escalated when Beach purportedly aimed his car at the victim, deliberately hitting him and then departing the scene.

Officials reported that the victim sustained injuries from the incident, although they were not life-threatening. The injured party received medical attention at a nearby medical facility as per the police statement. In the aftermath of an inquiry into the matter, Beach was apprehended, with allegations including aggravated malicious wounding, felony hit & run, and assault & battery.
