Arrest Made in 6th DUI Offense Case

Lincoln, DE – Delaware State Police arrested 59-year-old David Gillespie of Milford, Delaware, for 6th offense felony DUI on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, a trooper responded to a crash where a Jeep Liberty hit a mailbox and utility pole on Cedar Creek Road near Heritage Road in Lincoln.

The driver walked away but was later identified as David Gillespie, who showed signs of impairment and was arrested for driving under the influence. Gillespie was charged with various offenses, including 6th Offense DUI (Felony) and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on bond.
