Arrests Made in D.C. Bus Stop Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a robbery that occurred last year in Southeast Washington. The incident, which unfolded on January 17, 2023, involved a victim who was accosted by several suspects at a bus stop on Pomeroy Road and subsequently assaulted.

Myandre Starnes, 21, was arrested on Monday following a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant. Similarly, Jermaine Brown, 20, was apprehended on Wednesday under the same warrant conditions. Both suspects, residents of Southeast, face robbery charges.

The investigation is ongoing. The D.C. Metro Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to further arrests or indictments related to this case.
