Attempted Robbery at Williamsport Bank, Suspect Flees Scene

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – On Thursday, at 3:07 PM, the Williamsport Bureau of Police responded to an attempted robbery at the Woodlands Bank Branch on 1980 W 4th St.

The suspect, a white male wearing a black mask, red Reebok sweatshirt, and black pants, had fled before police arrival.

The unidentified suspect demanded money but did not display a weapon.

He left the bank without obtaining any currency.

The police are seeking information from the public and have requested that anyone with knowledge of the incident contact Agt. Brittany Alexander.
